Join us in a Northern California mass mobilization in advance of the 2015 UN Conference of Parties in Paris (COP21)

From November 30 to December 11, the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will take place in Paris. This conference is crucial because the world needs coordinated action now, at the highest level, to restrain global warming and prevent the worst human, ecological, and social disaster imaginable.

NCCM is a group of organizations and individuals planning a huge mobilization on November 21, 2015 to demand that the COP21 conference take decisive action. NCCM is committed to making the mobilization peaceful and family-friendly.

Transition Sonoma Valley has ENDORSED this event. We invite you to join us, to volunteer, and to GET INVOLVED in whatever ways you can.

Take a bus to the mobilization.  Two Departure Points:

  • 9:00 AM Downtown Santa Rosa Federal Building (Park on street for $ or at City Hall across D Street for free)
  • 9:20 AM Sonoma State University (Pickup will be at Parking Lot E near the main (south) entrance – Park in Lot E for $5/day).

Return by 4:00 PM at Federal Building.

$ 20    General Ticket

In addition, Casual Carpools from Sonoma to the 11/21 march in Oakland will form at the main entrance to Burlingame Hall, 252 W. Spain St. Sonoma (free bike and street parking).

  • 8:30AM departure (in time to catch the 9:20AM chartered buses at Sonoma State University
  • 9:00AM departure for direct trips to Lake Merritt.
