What Happened? And, What’s Next?

What Our American Majority Can Do Positively and Actively to Keep Democracy Alive

Nine months before the election, George Lakoff explained how Trump was getting support, why he could win, and what the Democrats were doing that was self-defeating.

We now have a minority president with unAmerican values, while the majority of Americans with the values that made America a beacon of hope are subjected to an immoral government. The American majority, working together, has many forms of power. This presentation opens a discussion of what the American Majority can do, what it should NOT do, how to communicate an understanding of what America has been, and should be about — and, above all, what it means to earn the title of “Citizen.”
